Services

Sundays

9.00am

A quiet Communion Service to start to the day giving you a chance to hear and speak with God. Lasting around 1/2 an hour you can make it home for breakfast at a civilised time if you wish. Most 9.00am services use contemporary language but the first Sunday of each month we use the traditional language service (Book of Common Prayer) followed by coffee & tea if you want to stay & chat. Perhaps soon we shall sometimes offer breakfast after the 9.00am service– what do you think?

10.30am

Our main Sunday service with hymns & songs, sermon & prayers, followed by tea, coffee & juice in the hall for those who wish. There is provision for children & babies– your children are welcome to stay throughout the service or to join groups that leave the service part way through. There is a crèche within the body of the church so parents can stay with their children & still follow what is going on – often parents ‘to & fro’ with their children during the service. The first Sunday each month the service is Communion, the third is All Age. Other services are Morning Worship – a mix of hymns & songs, Bible reading, sermon & prayers, often with something else thrown in for you to think on. All services last around 1 hour except the All Age which we try to keep to 3/4 hour. Though predominantly older folk, this service is gradually attracting people from a wide age range and background. Parish lunch follows the 10.30 service around once a month – everyone is invited – just turn up.

6.30pm

A very informal service lasting around 3/4 hour. Each Sunday is different –

Wednesdays

9.30am

A quiet Communion Service in contemporary language that is growing in popularity. A chance to stop & listen for God in the middle of the week.
