Welcome a child for a baptism or christening service is often one of the most joyful celebrations at St John's. It is the start of an amazing journey with God for the child, their parents, godparents, friends and family and the Church. It's also a service which is available for adults who have not already been baptised as children.
Confirmation is a special church service in which a person confirms the promises that were made when they were baptised. As a young person or adult, you may be ready to affirm these promises for yourself and commit your life to following Jesus Christ.
There is something unique and special about getting married in church. It is more than just a beautiful venue for you to make your wedding vows. It also adds a spiritual dimension to your ceremony. We would be delighted to help you plan your marriage at St John's in Farsley.
If someone you know and love has died, we would like to offer you our heartfelt condolences and let you know that we are here to do what we can to help you through one of life's most difficult times. A funeral, led by a Church of England minister, is available to everyone and our vicar would be available to help you every step of the way.
